Farm Parties

     We offer a lot of fun at our farm! We have a new barn built just for our petting zoo. We built our barn with the kids in mind. It's cemented and there's a corner for the picnic tables, a few benches to sit and rest too.  The barn will be kept as clean as possible for every ones enjoyment. 

   The kids will love petting and brushing the animals and for the little ones that are shy around the real animals, we offer books to read, stuffed animals to play with and even a  rocking horse. Some animals will be in pens, to be played with through the fence, some will be in an area where the kids will be able to go in to pet and feed them. We offer a variety of animals which will be moved into our barn just for events, they will then be moved back out to their pastures to play and munch grass and just be animals.

We have a hand washing station that all children and adults will be encouraged to use. We'll also provide sanitary hand cleaner. We also have bathroom facilities.

     Kids will be watched carefully but we will need some adults along to help watch them, they can't be left unattended. We encourage groups to come to our farm, schools may bring buses or put the kids in the vans and bring them out for there party. We offer a free Barneys Barnyard T-shirt to the birthday party child and we have T-shirts for others to buy. If you'd like a picture of each child with their favorite animal, we can do that too, for $3.00 a picture, we'll print it off and send to the "party parent" to be distributed to each child, this is usually a big hit with the kids.

      We will have some grain dispensers so the kids can buy food for a quarter, for the animals, they are allowed to feed the animals from the dishes, never from there hands.  Please don't bring carrots, apples, etc for the animals to eat, animals can get sick if they eat unnatural feed.

      We have a pot bellied pig named Porky, also a huge Rooster that loves to be played with, our little mini mare Be Bop and her baby Secret Wish or Clay Basket may be in the barn the day you come, mini donkeys, our Barney donkey, llama's, guinea pigs, a huge Flemish Giant rabbit, we have fuzzy bunnies, our, our baby doll sheep babies to bottle feed as well as our little calf will be bottle fed, a lot of fainting goats, fancy chickens, peacocks, you never know what you may find here! Come and join us in the fun!

       We LOVE DOGS but for the safety of the dogs, kids and animals PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DOGS AT HOME but bring Grandma and Grandpa, we know from our nursing home visits that the oldsters absolutely adore the animals!

    We are going to be open Thurs thru Sun from 10 to 4, then we'll be open for private parties, on the off days, private parties can be at any time. We still have enough animals and people to come to your parties too during these hours. We'll try our best to make everyone happy with our petting zoo.

   

                                           Our Prices For 2011

     For a petting zoo visit, we ask $4.00 for each person 2 and over (under 2 free). We offer discounts for groups of 15 or more.

   For farm birthday parties, we charge $90 for a 2 hour party, extra for more than 15 children, we will be there for the entire party to make sure the kids are having fun with the animals and are supervised. Bring your games, cake and ice cream, we have a refrigerator and a micro wave oven for you to use. Please call ahead of time with your party size, even though we'll be there,  we can discuss the number of chaperones needed so the kids can have fun and feel free to play, pet and brush the animals. We can also discuss if you'll need extra room for kid's games, we can extend our fence boundary. Children are to be supervised at all times for every ones safety and enjoyment.

 

    We are located just 2 1/2 miles from Highway 35, by Cochrane, WI. You turn out into the country on County 0 (right by the golf course) then come 2 1/2 miles to the top of the bluff and turn left on Belvidere Ridge Road and we are right there on the corner, on the left side of the road, our address is S 2497 Belvidere Ridge Road.
